In8 Resilience has come to understand that in order to help people, teams and organisations recover and BE more resilient we need to take a holistic approach to the whole person. Resilience in other words is more than just a mindset, this is just one aspect to what makes us resilient (mental resilience). We have looked at research into Positive Psychology, Neuroscience and Wellbeing that has shown us that resilience is INNATE to us as human beings, we just have to understand the aspects and elements that drive resilience and how to tap into our In8 Resilience. When looking at resilience through this innate and holistic lens a FRAMEWORK to resilience emerged.

What We Do

In8 Resilience has come to understand that in order to help people, teams and organisations recover and BE more resilient, we need to take a holistic approach to the whole person. Resilience in other words is more than just a mindset, this is just one aspect to what makes us resilient (mental resilience). We have looked at research into Positive Psychology, Neuroscience and Wellbeing that has shown us that resilience is INNATE to us as human beings, we just have to understand the aspects and elements that drive resilience and how to tap into our In8 Resilience.

When looking at resilience through this innate and holistic lens a FRAMEWORK to resilience emerged. BODY, MIND and SOUL. Each aspect is critical in our resilience and they form an ecosystem that not only are independent (focus on any one aspect and resilience improves) but are also interdependent (focus on more than one aspect and you get exponential results in our resilience).

Each resilient category has sub elements underpinning our innate resilience. By understanding the research behind each element, we can develop strategies to support us to become more physically resilient, mentally resilient and more emotionally resilient.

The body is defined as our literal physical body, here we look at PHYSICAL RESILIENCE.

The mind is defined as the way we think or approach life, the way we talk to ourselves and how we manage the stresses of life, here we look at MENTAL RESILIENCE (mental toughness).

The soul is defined as the parts of us that governs our EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE.

When we think about mental resilience we often think about our mindset and self-talk. However, there is a physiological aspect to it as well. Let’s call that Physiological resilience. Most people think about this as the body, and it’s how we look after our ‘temple’, the vehicle that houses our mind and spirit.
